Fingers of Doom

Raquel Meyers “Finger of Doom” has this unique retro pixel animation form. The music flow perfectly with the frames as it compliments one another. In the film we see Raquel use character by character rather than frame by frame in her animation. The vivid imagery that is shown gives a reptition of color pattern being used as she is creating a new character. Her use of skillful mind in technology to discuss a story through the motion of the animation displays creativity in this nostalgic animation, The Gestalt principle of containment is best used in Raquel work as the animation is contained in a single frame.
